"Deep" thoughts

As the old year ends, and the new year approaches, I like to take this time to reflect back on the past and realize; wow, I was still buying Magic: The Gathering boosters in 1997.

I don't think I've played since 1995. I don't even really remember the rules anymore.

I do kind of miss it. Otoh, my wallet sure doesn't.

Early New Year's Resolution

Okay, it's only <insert mid-winter celebration of your choice>, but I have a new year's resolution already.
I love to read. However, I'm easily distracted by new books as they come into my possession. So, my resolution is to finish the following list of books that I started this year.

  • Magnate's Make-Believe Mistress by Bronwyn Jameson (Started Aug. 9th. Read 110 pgs.(out of 179) in between set changes at the Progressive Nation 2009 tour. (Great show!))

  • Goddess of the Hunt by Tessa Dare (Started Dec. 22nd. Read 62 pgs. (out of 360) okay, I only just started this one.)
  • Glory in Death by J.D. Robb (Started ?. Read 60 pgs. (out of 296))

  • Let the Right One In by John Ajvide Lindqvist (Started some time in March. Read 264 pgs. (out of 472))

As far as I remember, I was enjoying all of these books, so I don't foresee giving up on any of them.
